The Period 5/6 Final that was originally scheduled for Monday will be Tomorrow, Friday Jan 28th at 12:15. If there are conflicts with attendance for any reason at the time, incompletes will be given and arrangements between students and teachers will be made to complete the exams as soon as possible.

Club Impact:
Have you heard about Club Impact yet? Well it's a Christian Club here at EFA, we meet Tuesdays after school in Rm 104. We focus on making an impact inside of school and out. We encourage everyone to join us at least once. We have loads of fun and we are meeting today.

SADD(Students against Drunk Driving): Members of the SADD Club and Sources of Strength will meek this Tuesday and Thursday in RM 226 (Ms. Davis).

Art Club:
There will be an Art Club meeting Today, Tues. 1/18 in Rm 104 after School. All are welcome. Please see Mrs. Newkirk with any questions.

Snowball Dance Tickets:

13th Annual: "Together We Dine" Community Dinner: January 17, 2011 12 noon to 2pm @ Erinie Davis Community Center 350 E. Fifth St. Elmira. Please join us for the 13th Annual Together We Dine Free community dinner in observance of the "A Day On! Not a Day off!" Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service event. On this day EOP staff and community volunteers will serve and or deliver a free turkey dinner to the needy, homeless, elderly, persons with disabilities and home bound.

Snow Ball Tickets:
Snow Ball tickets on sale Jan 12th- Jan 28th in the Library. $10 a ticket. Pre-sales only, tickets will not be sold at the door.

Two EFA graduates who are now attending St. Bonaventure will be in the Main Office Conference room tomorrow Jan 12 @ 11:00 am. If you would like to meet with them you can get a pass from your Guidance Counselor.

Friday and Saturday January 14th and 15th Boy Swim Invitational Here at EFA. Seniors: A number of scholarships are available but deadlines are closing fast. See the Guidance Office for more information.

Summer Employment Opportunity:
The Summer Cohesion Program, which provides recreational, education, and cultural enrichment programming for youth ages 4-12 during the summer months. is now accepting applications for Recreation Leader positions for the 2011. Recreation Leaders must be at least 17 yrs of age by July 1st and have current NYS working papers. Candidates must demonstrate a knowledge of and interest in working with children. Strong consideration will be given to those4 volunteering and working with youth in our community. Recreation Leaders must also be certified in CPR and First Aid by July 1, 2022. Employment applications are available in the main office at EFA.

National Honor Society Members: There will be a meeting on Thur, Jan 6th in RM 227 to welcome the new members and to plan our activities for the rest of the year.

New Visions Presentation Friday at 1:00


On Friday Jan 7th at 1:00 all juniors who have an 85 or better average and excellent attendance will be invited to the New Visions presentation in the Auditorium. They will return to their classroom for period 9/10. Attendance will be taken.

Seniors:
There will be financial Aid night at Southside High School Wednesday Jan 5th at 6:30 in the Southside Auditorium. Bring your parents and get to work on the FAFSA Forms.

--Also any student who would like to spend a summer or a year abroad there is a $5,000 scholarship available through the AFS Program. This would pay for the entire summer program. See Mrs. Nicklaus in guidance for more information.
