Gutherie Scholarship applications are in the Guidance Office. If you plan to enter a health career this scholarship is for you.

There will be a SADD Club meeting on Monday, Dec 5th at 3:15 in RM 226

Bowlers & Basketball Players: the bus to SHS & Dixie Bowling lanes will be picking up students in front of EFA. The bus # is 297 and leaves at 3:15. All other athletes will board buses out back.

Ace Spanish: All students taking an ACE Spanish class next semester see Senor Winston Today.

Girls LaCrosse: Nov 30, Wednesday morning at 7:45 there will be a brief girls lacrosse meeting outside of the gym. Please attend if you plan on playing Lacrosse in the Spring.

Morning Announcements

Turkey Raffle: there is a Turkey Raffle taking place this week. For any staff member interested in purchasing a raffle ticket for a chance to win a turkey. Please see Mrs. Phillips. All money collected will be donated to the local Samaritan Center.

Black Light Dance: Come to the 1st ever Elmira black Light Dance Sponsored by the Sophomore Class, Friday night from 8-10;30pm. Tickets are available at lunch or in the Library. Tickets are $4 in advance and $6 at the door. You must have picture ID to enter. Don't miss the fun.

Hot chocolate and Donuts for Sale in the Library Tomorrow morning.

Yearbooks: Yearbooks are on sale. buy yours before Nov 30th. cost is $60. there will be tables set up in the cafe during lunch this week.

Freshman: Freshman cookie dough orders are due into Mrs. Sweeney in rm218 by Thursday at the latest.

Senior Class: Our candle sale is in full swing. Remember our class goal is $20,000, so sell-sell-sell! You can turn orders in anytime this week to Coach K in Rm 129 or Ms. Wilson in Rm 128. Deadline is absolutely Monday, Nov 21.

Yearbook: There is a yearbook meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 16th at 3:15 in Rm 128. Please be prompt. See Mrs. Kennedy or Miss Bush if you can not make it.

College Representatives:
A college representative from Tompkins-Cortland Community College will be in the Main Office conference room Today, Nov 15th.

New York City Trip: All students taking Spanish 4 or 5 next semester, who want to go on the New York City trip, please give Senor Winston the $40 for the bus ticket by Thursday. Make checks payable to GST BOCES.

Black Light Dance:

GSA: (Gay Straight Alliance): The GSA is raising awareness about the Trevor Project, an organization that helps LGBT Youth and works to prevent teen suicide. If you, or someone you know needs support or if you have questions about the Trevor Project or LGBT issues, see Mrs. Clark in RM 212 or a GSA member.

A representative from Tompkins-Cortland Community College will be in the Main Office conference room, Tuesday, Nov 15th.

HOBY Youth Leadership Seminar: One Sophomore will be chosen to attend the 3 day HOBY Youth Leadership Seminar at the University of Rochester from June 1-3. this is a highly acclaimed national program that has been providing leadership training to Sophomores for 50 years. If you would like to find out more see your counselor.

Tech Team will be meeting Today in Rm 106 at 3:15.

Interact Club: the Interact Club will be meeting this Thursday after school in Rm 212.

Juniors: There is a Junior Fundraiser tonight at Texas Roadhouse, don't forget to bring in our flyer. Enjoy a great meal and we earn 10%.

Halloween Dance: there is a Halloween Dance this Friday night, tonight in the Cafe: 7-9:30pm, Admission for Sophomores & juniors is $5 at the door. There will be no pre-sales.

Lock Haven University will be in the Main Office conference room on Nov 7th @ 8:30 am.

A representative from Lemoyne College will be in the Main Office conference room Nov 7th @ 1:00pm. If you would like to meet with her you can get a pass from your Guidance Counselor.

Phys Ed Classes: Phys ed mile run make-ups will take place Tuesday, Nov 8th @ 3:15 on the track.

Pizza is sold each day in Tha Spot after school for 75 cents.
