Morning Announcements

Amazing Opportunity for an EFA student:
There are monies available for one of our students to study abroad through the AFS program.
The summer program would be mostly paid for but if a student wanted to go all year they would have to pay the difference. Students have to be ages 15-18. Barb Preucil who used to teach here will choose the student.If you know an EFA student interested please have them see Terry Nicklaus in Guidance for a preliminary application.

SPTO: There will be an EFA SPTO Meeting, March 3, at 7:00 PM in the Main Office Conference Room. Please come and find out what we can do for you and your student and what you can do for your school. Youth Council: the Town of Horseheads Youth Council presents Youth for Youth Conference 2011. March 26th and March 27th at Horseheads High School. For more information contact Bruce May 607-739-3517.

Recovery Classes: Recovery classes in most subject areas start Tuesday, March 2nd in the Library. See your counselor ASAP for the registration form.

LaCrosse: This is a reminder to lacrosse players that beginning March7th equipment must be stored in the following locations: Boy's equipment: boy's team locker room (It will be open daily from 7:45-8am and then unlocked at 3:00pm) Girls equipment: Girl's Phys Ed Office ( See coach Reidy before and after school) Lacrosse equipment should not be stored in the Main Office.

Key Club: Key Club meeting in Rm 133 Friday after school.

Youth-4-Youth Lock-In: The Horseheads Youth Bureau's Annual Youth-for-Youth Lock-In is back. The 27 hrs of fun will take place on March 26th and 27th with arrival between 9am and 11am on the 26th and departure at noon the 27th. It will be located at Horseheads High School and there will be Bobby K Blow-ups, Movies, Games, Contests, Workshops, Wii games, Open Swim, Live Bands, a Midnight Dance Party DJ'd by Criztian from 94-Rock, and food will be provided by Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, Chili's, Friendly's and more. This year's there will be "Through the Decades." so expect some retro-themed good times. Registration forms are available in the Main Office or at the Horseheads Youth Bureaus. The registration forms and the $25 registration fee are due by March 21st and can be turned in at the Horseheads Youth Bureau or into the Main Office. Hurry there is only 250 slots.
